My dream is for Takuwa to become a company that contributes to people and society worldwide, where
all our employees can become the protagonists of their lives and lead fulfilling, happy
lives.
ecoming the protagonist of your own life means being able to design your life for yourself
and to fully enjoy it.
I often use school club activities as an example. In junior high or high school, students are usually not allowed to join more than one club at a time. This is a prime example of a self-centered mindset. Both the baseball and soccer teams are focused only on strengthening their own teams, so a student who wants to play both sports is forced to choose one or the other. However, it is possible that this student could have blossomed in the sport they had not chosen. They might have become a top athlete representing Japan. Not only in sports but also in arts or business, the selfish mindset of locking up talent can crush valuable abilities and risk losing important treasures.
I believe that companies should avoid holding talented people back as much as possible when they want to
leave a company simply to challenge themselves and try their skills in a different industry without
causing lasting problems. Rather than keeping talent to themselves, it is important to thank them for
their contributions and let them go with goodwill. This approach is necessary for building a sustainable
world.
It is easier said than done, but if leaders of Japanese companies could adopt a long-term
perspective and embrace career changes with a spirit of selflessness, we might see a positive ripple
effect. Those who change industries would bring new energy to their new fields, and eventually, people
from other industries who want to test their skills in a new environment may come from all over the
world and help revitalize their former companies in return. If this kind of talent cycle begins to
function well, various industries will remain constantly energized. In the long run, this could help
make Japan stronger and more capable as a whole.
It is true that seeing an employee you have nurtured
and supported leave the company can indeed be painful. However, from a long term perspective, this is
something we must accept with patience. By enduring the tough times through dedicated corporate effort,
your company will likely attract talent from around the world eager to challenge themselves in a new
industry.
It is my wish to make an environment where people can continue to take on new challenges even after changing jobs and where this kind of positive cycle truly functions. I want to help create a world rooted in the spirit of serving others, where job seekers are not tied to a single lifelong employer but can build their market value, take initiative, change their environment on their own terms, and fully demonstrate their abilities.
I hope that one day Japanese companies will change their way of thinking. Takuwa will take the lead and help shape a society that makes it easier for people to take on new challenges, guided by a spirit of selflessness, starting with Japan.
Some people may say that this is too optimistic or that it is simply impossible. Considering current conditions and common sense, it might indeed seem that way. But while most people in the world were saying, “There’s no way we can fly,” someone stood up and said, “It sounds difficult, but why don’t we give it a shot?” That is why airplanes exist today.
People who grow at Takuwa go out into the world and bring happiness to those around them. In time, those positive connections make their way back to Takuwa, bringing happiness here as well. In other words, when the employee, Takuwa, and the new company are all happy, it creates a true win-win-win situation. When this kind of positive cycle starts to spread around the world, there’s no space for conflict. This is also one form of a sustainable world.
I am by no means actively encouraging those who joined Takuwa through a meaningful connection to leave the company. If you love working at Takuwa, aim higher and higher within the company, keep delivering results and gaining recognition, and want to keep increasing your income steadily, I truly want you to continue working at Takuwa for as long as you wish.
No matter the situation, whether you are struggling to see results, feeling frustrated, or even crying as you push through, if you continue to challenge yourself and never give up, I will never turn my back on those who keep moving forward. My life is devoted to standing by and supporting people like that.
At Takuwa, no one blames you for taking action and failing, but if you never take action, you will be criticized. If you think something could be better or should be done differently, be the first to take initiative. Start by taking action yourself.
At Takuwa, we truly value people who take initiative like that.
We believe that people are happiest when they feel in control of their own destiny. This philosophy is a key element of the workplace culture at Takuwa. I truly believe that the world is a better place with a company like Takuwa.
If you like what we do and think, Takuwa would be a great place to work, and we would love to have you join our team.
By working hard at Takuwa, you will gain the ability to design your own life and live as the protagonist in your own story.
At Takuwa, you will be challenging yourself in new ways and fulfilling your dreams at the same time.
